Being Thankful

As we gear up for the holiday season, we are reminded to say thanks for our blessings. I Chronicles 16:8 says, "Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known to the nations what He has done." It is my hope that you are thankful for God's blessings throughout the year, but do you let others know how thankful you are? The last part of that verse says, "make known to the nations what He has done." You don't have to advertise in the paper what it is that you are thankful for, but be sure to let those around you know.
In an effort to do this myself, here's my short list: I'm thankful for my relationship with God, how much He loves me and how many times He's shown me patience and mercy when I didn't deserve it. I'm thankful for my wife and the blessing that she is to me every single day. I'm thankful for my family and how great it is to be included among them. I'm thankful for Northside Methodist Church and the wonderful body of believers found there; it's a great place to be a pastor. I'm thankful for NMA and the amazing faculty and staff we have; working with Christians combined with the opportunity to educate and minister to young people...who could ask for more? I'm thankful for our students and parents and the chance to be blessed and be a blessing.
Gratefully,
Pastor Jeremy

Pastor Jeremy,Along with the many blessings I am thankful for, I would like to take this opportunity to personally tell you and the staff at NMA how thankful I am the God brought us to your school.
We moved to Dothan last December due to a lay-off related to the economic downturn. Although it was a trying time for our family, our main concern was our daughter's happiness and contentment. We are so blessed to have found NMA. She has grown so much in the past year both spiritually and intellectually. I attribute that to the wonderful surroundings at NMA. I thank you and your entire staff for being wonderful, God-loving people who genuinely care about the children God has placed in your care.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. May God continue to bless this school for the wonderful work it is doing in the lives of so many students and parents.
